Serv

Terms of Service

Last updated 12 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between Serv and the business that signs up to use it. We have kept them short and in plain English. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

Serv is the website at servapp.ai and the Serv app. It is run by a company, registered in England and Wales, in the United Kingdom ("Serv", "we", "us"). You can reach us at theo@queenconsultancy.com.

2. Who these terms are for

  • The business that creates the account ("you"). The person who signs up must be allowed to agree to this on the business's behalf, and be 18 or over.
  • Your team (office staff and crew) use Serv under your account. You are responsible for who you invite and what they do in Serv.
  • Your customers open the pages you send them (quotes, invoices, tracking, their portal). They don't sign up with us. Your work for them is between you and them; Serv is not part of that agreement.

3. Your account

  • Give us true details and keep them up to date.
  • Keep passwords private. Tell us at once if you think someone got in.
  • Serv is for running a business, not for personal or household use.

4. Free trial and paying for Serv

  • Every plan starts with 90 days free. We don't ask for a card to start.
  • After the trial you pay the monthly price of your plan, as shown on our pricing page when you choose it. We will tell you before the first charge.
  • You can cancel at any time. You keep access until the end of the month you paid for. We don't refund part months.
  • If we change a price, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you. Prices do not include taxes; where tax applies, we add it.
  • If a payment fails and isn't fixed, we may limit the account to read only.

5. Getting paid by your customers

Online card and bank payments run through Stripe, under Stripe's own terms, which you accept when you connect a Stripe account. The money goes to your Stripe account, not to us. Serv takes no cut: you pay Stripe's own fees to Stripe, and nothing to us on top. You are responsible for your prices, refunds, disputes and sales tax, and for what you tell customers about them. Serv is not a bank and does not hold your money.

6. Texts and emails to your customers

When you send a text or email through Serv, or from your phone using a message Serv wrote, you are the sender. You must have the customer's permission where the law requires it (in the US, for example, the TCPA for texts and CAN-SPAM for marketing email) and honor requests to stop.

7. Your team's location

The crew app shares a technician's location only while they are clocked in. You must tell your team this before they use it, and follow your state's rules on monitoring employees.

8. Your data

  • What you and your team put into Serv is yours. We hold it to run Serv for you, as the Privacy Policy says, and for nothing else.
  • You must have the right to give us your customers' details and to use them the way you do in Serv.
  • You can delete your business, and everything in it, at any time in Settings, under Account. What we keep afterwards, and why, is in the Privacy Policy.

9. AI features

Ask Serv and voice typing use an AI service run by another company (today xAI, the maker of Grok). Each person is asked before they first use them and can turn them off in Settings. AI can be wrong: check what it says before you rely on it. Anything Ask Serv offers to change, or to send to a customer, only happens after you tap to confirm it.

10. Fair use

Don't use Serv to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else to;
  • send spam, or message people who asked you to stop;
  • upload anything you have no right to, or that harms someone;
  • get into accounts or data that aren't yours, or test or overload our systems;
  • copy Serv or build a competing product from it.

If you do, we may suspend the account. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

11. Keeping Serv running

We work to keep Serv available and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be down or never have a mistake. We may change or retire features; if a change takes away something you rely on, we will tell you in advance.

12. Our responsibility to you

  • Serv is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we don't give promises beyond what these terms say.
  • As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to what you paid us in those 12 months, or $100 if that is more.
  • Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for fraud.

13. Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by deleting the business in Settings, under Account. We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or straight away if you seriously break these terms. Either way, sections 5, 8, 12 and 14 keep applying.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If something goes wrong, email us first and we will try to sort it out. If we can't, the courts of England and Wales decide, unless the law where you are says otherwise.

15. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we change the date at the top. For a real change rather than tidier wording, we email the account owner at least 30 days before it applies.
